What should I wear to first job interview at Toys R Us?
Q. I'm a 17 year old male who applied to Toys R Us on June 22 from their main website. I got a call yesterday to come to a group interview on Wednesday, July 7th at 2:00pm. I live in California and I really do not know what to wear and I'm very nervous! What should I wear to the interview?
A. i went to a toys r us interview in 2008. i was dressed in jeans and tee shirt. still got hired! The problem is ---- i never showed up for work.
How do you retake the toys r us assessment questionnaire if you failed it?
Q. I applied at toys r us the lady I talked to said she wants to give me an interview but I failed the assessment she said I can take it over as many times till I pass it. But how do I retake it do I need to make a new account or what??
A. Go back to school, if you can't even get a job at toys r us.
What is orientation and training like at Toys R Us?
Q. I just got a job at Toys R Us, and I have to go through orientation on Tuesday. Does anyone who has/have had this job, know what orientation is like? Also, I have training after orientation, so any ideas on what all I'll be doing on the days I go through training?
A. During orientation, you fill out paper work which includes your hiring documents as well as learning more about what your job entails. They will talk briefly about the company, and make you watch safety videos and you get trained anywhere from one day to couple weeks depending on what they decide to do. Most likely, they will let you start to work that day with extra supervision for training.
