Q. I live in NYC and would like to know the best place to buy legos prefered in the midtown to downtown manhatan area. I went to Toys R US in Times Square and it has many legos but isn't the cheapest any other good place. Also does FAO schwartz carry lego cause I don't think so?
Also I can't really go anywhere to Bronx or Staten Island so please don't say a place there.

A. FAO Schwartz has legos...at least full sized lego figurines(such as batman) so they should carry legos

How long would it take to walk from Central Park West to Times Square?
Q. One of my relatives lives pretty close to 15 Central Park West, and I might go down there for Thanksgiving.
I was wondering how long it would take walking from there to Times Square (like the toys r us part)
I mapquested it already and it said 7 minutes by car and I highly doubted that, which is why I'm asking.

A. No it's not very far. I would say 10 minutes walk or so. I actually walked from CP SW corner to Times Square in September. My problem was that I stopped several times for shopping. But if I had walked non-stop, well 10-15 min walk.
What are some fun things to do while in NYC?
Q. I'm going for my birthday next month. And i've been there before, about 10-15 times. I'd like to stay around times square, because that's my favorite. But i've been there a lot, so i've seen all the main things. Such as the virgin megastore, the 5-story toys r us, the m&m store, the hershey store. I'm looking for other things. I was thinking about going to the wax figure museum but i'm not really sure. I want to see some other options.

Things to do with a ten year old in NYC?
Q. I'm taking my son to the city for his birthday. We want to watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and go to the Museum of Natural History (and probably hit up Toys R Us in Times Square). But what else is there to do in November?
A. Walk across Central park to the metropolitan museum of art after going to the natural history museum and look at the egyptian mummies and the arms and armor display.
Checl out the playground in the school yard at 77st and columbus. Take a penny walk, flip a penny at the intersection and let it decide which way to go. heads you go left tails you go right or vice versa (this a nice way to take a walk anywhere with a kid) Take a ride on the staten island ferry. You can do anything just dress for the weather.
